seasonal workshops
Writing a book can be exhilarating and deeply isolating.
Most authors hit the same walls: the sagging middle, plot confusion, character problems, lost momentum, or simply the feeling of being stuck inside their own story for too long.
Our quarterly member workshops are designed for studio members actively working on a manuscript and seeking a collaborative environment to help them move their story forward. These workshops bring authors together for focused creative work, structured feedback, and thoughtful discussion so that no one has to navigate the writing process alone.
We also offer regular open workshops for members and non-members looking to develop their writing and creative skills.
member workshops
Each member workshop is a working studio for writers, combining guided discussion, problem-solving, and dedicated writing time.
Together, we explore the challenges that come up during the writing process and help each other find creative solutions.
What to bring
- a novel manuscript
- a memoir or nonfiction book
- a short story collection
- an early draft or a work in progress
The goal isn’t perfection, it’s progress.
What to expect
Each workshop includes:
✦ Story development discussions focused on real manuscript challenges
✦ Collaborative brainstorming to help untangle plot, pacing, and character issues
✦ Small-group feedback sessions
✦ Dedicated writing time to apply what you discover immediately
✦ A supportive creative circle of writers
You’ll leave with clearer direction for your manuscript and renewed momentum in your writing process.
open workshops
Our open workshops are designed as relaxed creative spaces where anyone can come explore writing, storytelling, and imagination, no experience required.
These workshops are all about creative wellbeing, curiosity, and the joy of making something from nothing.

- Curious beginners
- Readers who feel drawn to writing

- Writers who want to loosen their creativity
- Anyone looking for a thoughtful, creative environment
All you need is curiosity and something to write with.

There is no pressure to perform or produce something “good.” The goal is simply to create space for creativity to exist.
